History

Founded in June 2001 by professionals with extensive experience in the industrial area, the company Carlos Calhelhas-Metalúrgica Lda. quickly became a reference in quality and efficiency.

 

With a team of professionals and a great set of machines, Carlos Calhelhas-Metalúrgica Lda. has the capacity to attend all national and international territory.

 

The European market has been the main scenario of action, however recently we started new projects in Russia, Mexico and United States of America.

Currently we have a staff divided by departments, TECHNICAL (technical monitoring of work), TECHNICAL DESIGN AND ENGINEERING, ADMINISTRATIVE and FINANCIAL department (management and expedient assistance), SECURITY and HUMAN RESOURCES department (prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases and working conditions), and PRODUCTION department that ensures all operational work. We have work teams that are usually allocated to companies on a subcontract basis, for the execution of support work and maintenance of normal production flows, such as preventive stoppages, layout changes, curative interventions among others. In terms of areas of operation, we operate in various sectors/industries, namely the glass, paper, cement and refining industries.
